Mientras el magnate estadounidense de bienes raíces, candidato a la Presidencia de los EEUU por el Partido Republicano, se hallaba dando en la noche del 5 de Noviembre un discurso en la ciudad de Reno (Nevada), aparentemente un manifestante apareció con un arma de fuego y apuntó hacia el escenario, siendo detenido por las fuerzas del Servicio Secreto de los EEUU.

No se cuentan aún con más informes, pero en una breve declaración, Donald Trump dijo que «nunca detendrían su movimiento, y que no sería nada fácil».

Ésta no es la primera vez que se intenta atentar contra la vida de Donald Trump. También existieron muchas amenazas, que han sido tenidas en cuenta por el Servicio Secreto de EEUU, según reportes preliminares.

Aún se esperan más informaciones.

El 8 de Noviembre de 2016, tendrán lugar las elecciones presidenciales de EEUU, en donde los principales contrincantes, Hillary Clinton (D) y Donald Trump (R) se encuentran en «empate técnico estadístico», con ligera ventaja de 1 punto de la candidata demócrata.
