Propuestas: «Carmel: ¿quién mató a María Marta?»
En octubre del año 2002, la socióloga argentina María Marta García Belsunce, fue encontrada en la tina del baño de su domicilio ensangrentada y agonizando.
Desde un principio, el caso resultó ser bastante dudoso y enigmático. En primer lugar se creyó que la causa de la muerte de García Belsunce había sido producto de un accidente doméstico, en donde, luego de un resbalón en la bañera, se golpeó la sien por el grifo.
Sin embargo, un mes después y luego de una solicitud de autopsia por parte del fiscal del caso, se descubrió que la misma había recibido cinco balas en el cráneo, lo que desembocó en un acontecimiento mediático a nivel nacional en la Argentina, con muchas hipótesis que rozaban, desde lo más certero, hasta lo más descabellado.
A 18 años del caso, que aún sigue impune, en la plataforma Netflix se lanzó la serie documental denominada «Carmel: ¿quién mató a María Marta?«, en donde a través de 4 capítulos se explica detalladamente los pormenores del asesinato, desde el punto de vista técnico, como social, lo que hace del documental una propuesta más que interesante.
El caso Belsunce fue bastante impactante debido a que el crimen fue cometido en un «Country», barrios cerrados, con vigilancia de seguridad las 24 horas, en donde familias pudientes suelen pasar los fines de semana para desconectarse del trajín cotidiano, y en donde en teoría «nada malo puede pasar».
Otro punto clave es la negligencia que cometieron las autoridades judiciales. No hubo autopsia inmediata, sino un mes después, y la medida dispuesta por el fiscal del caso, de nombre Diego Molina Pico, descubrió que el presunto accidente doméstico había sido un asesinato.
La prensa también jugó su papel. Las portadas de diarios y revistas, y los programas de televisión y radio, maquinaban todo tipo de teorías y opiniones respecto al caso: Infidelidades, lesbianismo, vínculos por narcotráfico con el cartel de Juarez, relaciones incestuosas hasta temas paranormales.
Lo cierto y lo concreto es que el viudo de García Belcunce, y algunos miembros del primer anillo familiar, resultaron sospechosos para los magistrados y para la opinión pública en general.
De hecho, Carlos Carrascosa, el ex marido, fue condenado por encubrimiento en el año 2007, luego en 2009 la Casación lo sentenció a prisión perpetua como autor del crimen, y finalmente, tras pasar siete años encarcelado y luego de que la Corte Suprema de la Nación ordenara revisar su fallo, fue absuelto en 2016 y recuperó su libertad.
